Privacy

This notice explains how PatterTech Ltd(“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal data in connection with this website, pattertech.com.

We are the data controller. PatterTech Ltd is registered in Northern Ireland (company number NI739839), with its registered office at Office 1768 - 92 Castle Street, Belfast, Antrim, United Kingdom, BT1 1HE. You can reach us at Daniel@PatterTech.com.

What this notice covers

This notice applies to this marketing website only. It does not cover our products and services, which are provided under their own separate privacy notices.

In particular, WiseWattage is operated by PatterTech Ltd but has its own privacy notice and terms on its own website (wisewattage.co.uk). If you use WiseWattage, or any other product we run, that product's privacy notice governs how your data is handled there, not this one.

What we collect

This site has no user accounts, takes no payments, and has no contact form. We keep data collection to a minimum.

  • If you email us, we process your email address and the contents of your message so we can reply and keep a record of the correspondence.
  • Technical logs created by our hosting provider (for example your IP address, browser type, and basic request details) may be processed to serve, operate, and secure the site.

Cookies and analytics

We use only the essential cookies needed to serve the site securely. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not currently run analytics. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will update this notice first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Legal basis

Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and in responding to enquiries, and on your consent where that is required.

Who we share it with

We use reputable service providers to host and run the site (our hosting platform) and to handle email. They process data on our behalf as our processors, under appropriate agreements. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Retention

We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for the purpose it was sent, and technical logs for a limited period before they are deleted or rotated by our provider.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the UK's approved transfer mechanisms) as required by law.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email Daniel@PatterTech.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Children

This site is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
